You know you've crossed the line from ice cream FAN to ice cream FANATIC when you can come up with an excuse to eat a frozen treat...on your way to work (and I don't mean the late shift). That's right, I was on a mission to get to work on time and I needed something quick. ...ok...ok, you got me...I was looking for an excuse to try another Aspen this morning and I got my wish. People do eat yogurt in the morning, so it's all good.

The good news is that everything comes together quite well. It's actually quite fun to eat, but maybe that's because I expected not to like it. The shell is just the right thickness. The yogurt is fine and the thin layer of raspberry adds a nice little touch/tang to the whole thing. The granola is just right: not too crunchy, not too soft, and not to prevalent. You would think it might make a big mess and go everywhere, but it stays together well as you enjoy it.
There still might be a little bit of an aftertaste, but it's minimal. No, my only possible complaint here it fat content. Saturated fat clocks in at 7g which is a lot considering the whole thing only ways 51 grams. If they could knock 2, maybe 3 of these sat fat grams off, I could then easily picture myself keeping a box around for the morning commute.
Well done Blue Bunny, you've come out with two excellent product ideas here ...I think you've earned back my respect, keep it up.
