I've wanted to try Rice Creams for awhile now, but it's been a long time since I've passed through New Jersey or walked Morey's Piers at Wildwood. Thankfully, Drew offered to send a few samples.
OHH NOOOO!!!!!
To my great sadness, the overnighted package was carelessly beaten and destroyed by UPS. Between the unseasonably warm temperatures, the downpours, and the gigantic crack, the bottom of the shipping box was a puddle of water.
Somehow the vanilla sample remained intact, but the chocolate sample is ruined!!
Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!
Have no fear my friends for Drew wasn't about to give up.
In the name of all that is tasty and frozen, he double boxed the sandwiches!
I literally started laughing when I saw this because it shows great respect for the product.
Here we are inside the smaller package.
The dark spot is four rice creams inside a nice coating of bubble wrap.
The fresh batch of sandwiches are intact and I can't wait to post a review (read here).
We are in for a treat everyone, stay tuned!
I've never heard of these EVER, so I am very curious to see this review!
ReplyDeleteoh how I envy you so much right now
ReplyDeleteCustomer service at its peak!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to read the review; these sound interesting!
ReplyDeleteI live in NJ and have never heard of these - I'm intrigued! In other words, yes customer service does suck these days. As someone in the biz, you either go above and beyond as in my company or you do little to nothing...boo :(
