The "Red, White & Blue Bell" (clever name) is a side-by-side-by-side carton with strawberry (that's your "Red"), vanilla (and this would be the "White") and blueberry (and this would the "Blue") flavors.
I like the novelty of this idea, but the color scheme of this ice cream is closer to my daughter's bedroom than it is to the American flag. Now, I'm certainly not advocating that they pump this with a bunch of artificial coloring, but popping that lid off and seeing pink, white and purple didn't make me stand up and sing "My Country 'Tis of Thee." That's alright though. I didn't really expect that it would be overly saturated with Betsy Ross' favorite color scheme.
Flavor wise, this was enjoyable and refreshing, but nothing overly special. It contains the standard strawberry and vanilla flavors, which I've had before. The strawberry flavor has chunks of fruit which I always like. I'm not sure if the blueberry flavor is new for this or not. It also contained real fruit. I'm still trying to get seeds out of my teeth. As with any product that has multiple flavors, it's fun to try them on their own and together. The flavors complimented each other well and the ratio seemed pretty even throughout the carton.
If you like fruity ice cream or are looking for a fun summer picnic dessert item, definitely take a look at grabbing this. If you are hoping for something to match your US flag napkins, you might need to look elsewhere.
