Stewart's Eggnog Ice Cream

[By Nick] It's that time of the year again, when eggnog ice cream becomes a staple in a lot of companies offerings. Surprisingly, Stewart's doesn't have an eggnog ice cream. Well, they didn't until this year anyway. I say surprisingly because they offer their eggnog year round and are very proud of it. Their eggnog was the first actual eggnog I ever tried and it was pretty awesome. I'm hoping this excellence translates to their new ice cream offering.

It looks and smells identical to their eggnog. Yellowish with specs of spices throughout. There is some sort of eggy, cinnamon and nutmeg aroma coming off the ice cream as well.

Digging in, it tastes pretty awesome, actually. I suck at describing eggnog but for comparison, it's better than Talenti's version. It's richer and surprisingly has a better mouthfeel.

I'm truly shocked it took Stewart's so long to make an eggnog ice cream. I'm glad they finally did though. While I'm not an eggnog enthusiast, this is something I can highly recommend over any other eggnog ice cream I've had. If you have a Stewart's nearby, be sure to give this one a go.
