As I patiently wait for my walmart to take the time to stock new blue bunny flavors, I ask myself... ummm, well, why can't they hurry up is really the only question I have.
Blue Bunny Salted Caramel Craze Ice Cream
sea salt caramel ice cream, sea salt caramel swirls,

(and) chocolate sea salt caramel bunnies
Still getting use to the new container filling style.
With every ingredient having a proclaimed salt factor, did I notice? Ofcourse I did, it's hard to miss! The good news is that it's not totally crazy and I did settle in after a few bites.
So it's not like licking a block of salt or anything, it just has that overall feel when ice cream is really salty. Wow, that made zero sense. You know how the texture seems to change with the salt boost? That's what i am referring to. It's not so much grit but it doesn't come across the same way as a non-salted flavor.
Now there are plenty of bunnies to go around. I don't think they have quite the same enjoyable thud that the old bunnies had, but part of me wonders if I am overthinking it a little. I liked them in the strawberry flavor, but for whatever reason I wanted them thicker here, maybe to counteract the salt a bit more.
Verdict? Yup, that's salty!
Buy Again? not my style
I enjoy salted caramel but in a much more casual way. I may try this variety as I've been impressed with Blue Bunny so far. Their Peanut Butter Party is a repeat purchase.
