It's been tough these last few weeks as there's just so little to choose from, life is in flux as school mode kicks back in, and allergies are beating me up. It's just one of those Wednesdays that feels like a Thursday even though it's kind of like a Tuesday and oh my brain is spinning too fast and I need ice cream. Wait, I know, I'll hit up Cumberland Farms and grab something cheap.

Market Basket Butter Crunch Ice Cream

Ok, time for a quick review of something from Market Basket. It's been lingering in the freezer for awhile as it was part of my plan to fill in during this lackluster summer we are having. I don't think I've ever officially covered anything from MB before, but I wanted to try something a bit different from them, plus I had a positive experience with Turkey Hill Butter Brickle ice cream.

JC's Mint Chocolate Cookie Pie Pop

It has been a year since we mentioned JC's Pie Pops and a saddening three years since I first sampled their four original flavors. I was so very impressed by those pops when I had them and unfortunately I had to deal with the fact that it wasn't something I could easily pick up at the grocery store. Well a lot has changed over the years. Pie Pops are more readily available, there are more flavors, there is the variety without crumbs, and there is even the truffle version you can find in your grocer's candy section.

Baskin-Robbins at Home Ice Cream Giveaway

Several months ago, I was talking with Boardwalk Frozen Treats about their production of the Baskin-Robbins at home flavors that you can find in your local freezer aisle. In particular, I was having trouble tracking down a good supply of pints to dig in to. Long story short, I learned that they are coming out with four new flavors for 2016 and they gave me a bunch of coupons to try them.

The new ice cream flavors are Salted Caramel, Mom's Makin' Cookies (the in store version is excellent), Peanut Butter Cup, and Pistachio Almond.

Now the thing is, I still can't find any of their pints in my area now, so I've decided to share my coupons with all of you. I just have one request. I really want people to try this (and hopefully check back in with their thoughts), so please verify that you have access to this product before you enter the giveaway. These coupons are not for in store quarts you find at Baskin-Robbins scoop shops, these are only for the freezer aisle pints you find in the grocery store (store locator here). (The coupons will work on any flavor, not just the new ones)
