Good Morning Nosh Show Listeners!
Episode 92 is ready for to be your foodie escape for an hour. I also have a few treats that I tried recently and I... wait, does that say "with Almonds Bits"? Did Lays fire their proof reader? (We all know I don't have one hehehe)
Lays Wavy - Milk Chocolate with Almonds Bit
The milk chocolate
Wavy Lays are as good as I remember. Despite being only coated on one side, there is still a ton of tasty chocolate on every chunk of chip. As for the almonds, well, you can't really taste them (or discern them from chip crumbs really). You can barely even see them in my photo because they look like chip crumbs on the chocolate. There is a little added complexity to the overall flavor profile, but nothing overly striking. These are tasty and still fun to try if you don't mind spending $3.99, just don't go in expecting a ton of almond flavor.
Now I've snacked on the new
Toasted Marshmallow Milanos several times now and I am definitely enjoying them, I just wouldn't call them toasted marshmallow. During the show I mention that you can barely taste it. There is an added complexity to the overall flavor and they are enjoyable, just don't expect it to bowl you over with marshmallow flavor. (What a funny trend in today's extra reviews). I will note that it does feel a little more fluffy (or filled) than a regular milano, so that's an extra plus right?
Oh, we talk about
sugar cookie pringles and let me just simplify by saying they are not impressive. If you were hoping for salty and sweet, you need to look elsewhere.
Ok, that's all I got for today since that Cherry 7up is still sitting on the shelf downstairs (listen to the episode and this will make sense). Have a good week everyone!
I don't know what it is, but the idea of chocolate-covered potato chips just doesn't appeal. Love chocolate,
ReplyDeletelove potato chips. I should like, right? Maybe I'll break down and grab a bag.
you owe it to yourself to try a bag!
