It was hard to tell in that first photo but this ice cream is actually pink.
The ice cream itself it very.... soft, like velvet soft as opposed to just generically soft. The whole experience is kind of... delicate? It's not a chilling mint in an all natural base, it's much more squishy peppermint patty than solid arctic blast. Yes I'm having trouble putting this one in to words.
I kind of feel like I am eating chilled peppermint marshmallows. Pretty sure that's the best description I can make on the first round.
On Second Scoop: I can't seem to get in to this one. It's not that it's bad, it's just that the mint is so muted by the texture that it's just not fun for me. Mint should pop. In the right environment it pops. Here's it's just mellow and then the fudge comes along and pushes it to the side. Not that the fudge is terribly strong either, but they definitely cancel each other out. The real selling point on this flavor is the delightful buttermint Bs. I can't really think of anything comparable out there so I have no problem with someone trying this with the primary purpose of trying the Bs.
Verdict? B bunny buttermints
Buy Again? meh
For this particular style of flavor, I prefer Friendly's Limited Edition Peppermint Stick ice cream.
