Friendly's Vanilla Caramel Signature Sundae

We haven't seen this product line expand in 2018 and in fact I've seen it disappear from a few stores, so I figured I should finally review the 4th flavor before I lost the chance to.

Friendly's Vanilla Caramel Signature Sundae

Always fun to look at... 

...unfortunately not that fun to taste. Where as the other flavors usually had a certain x-factor to keep them interesting, the caramel on caramel on terrible ice cream just doesn't work here. It's a shame as I do think the others can be fun, but I don't even want to finish this one.

Now I believe even more firmly that this product line is going away.

On Second Scoop: Second scooping was not an improvement. I did get bored toward the end and just swirl everything together (in the hopes of both balancing the caramel to ice cream flavoring as well as hiding the awful texture of the base ice cream). For the record, yes, this pint has an expiration date almost a year away  (I was careful not to grab the ones that expired 3-4 months early).

Other flavors: Peanut Butter, Brownie, and Chocolate Chip.

Verdict?  fail
Buy Again?  nope
