Gelato Fiasco Mint Brookie, Brownie Cookie

[New for 2019] I waited three months to try the last of Nick's three new flavors. Why did I wait so long? Maybe because I knew I would inhale half the pint without even thinking about (note: I did just that). Let you introduce you to my tasty little friend.

Tempting, tempting...

I'm a fan from scoop one ofcourse. I like mint flavors, I like cookies & cream flavors, and I like flavors that have brownies in them. Even sitting for three months in the chest freezer, this one was delicious. It's not doing anything groundbreaking mind you, but it's executing very well, just like I expect from a Gelato Fiasco flavor.

So yeah, I like it. Technically it's peppermint and not (butter)mint like in a Talenti flavor. Some people mind the difference, I'm pretty happy either way. I do think the peppermint goes well with the other components.

The brownies aren't huge but are plentiful. They are fairly dense and add a nice texture to my scoops. This isn't the kind of brownie where you're suddenly bowled over with ooey gooey brownie batter flavor. That's not what's going to happen here.

The cookie swirl factor is nice but I never got a bite that was mostly swirl. That would be fun but that's hard to pull of in a pint.

So yeah, I like it. The individual components are nice as is the overall product. I'd totally buy this one on my own. Thanks for the free sample Gelato Fiasco.
