Five Guys Oreo Cookie Pieces Shake
Simply put, it was good and I will get it again. I know there is the crowd that prefers a thinner shake with their fast food (say from McDonald's) but I prefer a thicker shake. It's not scoop shop thick, but it's got heft to it. They also did a good job blending it, I got plenty of Oreo wafer flavor with just a sprinkling of larger bits coming up the straw now and then.
I will definitely get shakes from them again and the urge to mix and match mix-ins will definitely be in play next time. Hey, let's do something different, what's the craziest but still tasting sounding combo you can think of? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
Verdict? good
Buy Again? yup!
It's not really too off the wall, but I'd get the Elvis. PB, banana and bacon.
ReplyDeleteHow about banana and salted caramel, for a bananas foster thing? I'd personally add peanut butter too, even though that's not exactly on theme lol. (Sorry, no 5 guys near me, so I'm living vicariously through you :) )
ReplyDelete@Sascha: HA! First thing that popped in my head too!
ReplyDelete@Nick: I'm definitely tempted to get something mixed with peanut butter next time
I know this sounds weird, but I like chocolate chips in my watermelon shake from Cook Out. Sounds strange, but it's oddly good.
ReplyDeleteI just had Coffee Oreo ice cream at a small ice cream on vacation that was delicious, but I wonder what if we added Peanut Butter into the mix?
ReplyDeleteCoffee + Oreo = Good
Peanut Butter + Oreo = Good
I've had a coffee peanut butter coffer, so why not? I say we go for it!
OK this might sound really crazy, but how about fries in a shake? Hey I know you all dip your fries into your frosty at Wendy's. Five Guys fries are delicious. So how about fries inside a chocolate shake? Bacon and fries in a shake?
