FatBoy Vanilla Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwiches

Time to dive in to another free sample from FatBoy ice cream. They were nice enough to send me six different boxes of treats, but if I'm being honest, this particular box was calling me in a different way then the others. I'm probably a broken record about it by now, but I'm a sucker for a classic cookie ice cream sandwich. Let's see how this one stacks up against the rest.

I'm not sure if this is the most flattering picture, but I hope you appreciate it because in my attempt to keep my hand out of the picture, I dropped this sandwich. Sure, it's a box of four, but I had already inhaled the other three. Yeah, I was pretty sad.

I'll live, but doesn't mean I'm not sad about it. I can't get this in my area and that's a shame. It's a nice cookie with a nice filling. Sure, I wouldn't say no to it being rolled in chocolate chips (or having chocolate chips in the ice cream!), but this is a nice classic sandwich. 

If you aren't doing something new, at least make sure you are doing things right. (not to say that their new treats weren't tasty too!). We've got the right ratios here, the filling isn't too soft (or too hard), and it's really enjoyable.

The cool jack version was fun and all, but it's flavor was a little off. I'm a big fan of the bryne dairy ones, but they're a little too big. The toll house ones are for emergencies only. This is the kind of classic treat that I crave.
