Ben & Jerry's Half Baked Ice Cream

So how have I never posted a half baked review? I know I've had it at least once if not a few times. If you had asked me about it, I just would have said "yeah, I had it, but it's nothing to right home about because it just doesn't pop for me".

Well, at least the Greystone brownies are still huge.

My biggest take away from having had this after totally unbaked is that my thoughts of this being tame are true. I am a firm believer that vanilla and chocolate swirled together tend to cancel each other out way more than they ever enhance the overall effect of a pint. I'm sure some people dig the milder flavor, but I always seem to be left wanting more.

And the mix-ins? The brownies are good ofcourse, but again, nothing really pops. Just like caramel makes waffle cone pieces pop or say brown sugar can make cookie dough pop, there is nothing here to make the brownies or cookie dough pop.

To be clear, this isn't a bad flavor and I had no trouble finishing it, it's just not a craveable flavor for me personally. How about you?

On Second Scoop: It's gone now....  wait, what if they mixed the brownie swirl from totally unbaked in to half baked to finally give it the pop it deserves? That would be cool.

Verdict?  it's fine
Buy Again?  when the pint design changes again :)
