Well, that's an awful pretty start to a pint!
That's a cool looking flavor!
I take a bite and yeah, I kind of hate it. It's a very dry straight coffee
flavor. They should just call it coffee bean flavor. That said, the swirl is
nice and the truffles are interesting. I have to put this away for the moment,
but I will try digging out more truffles tomorrow....
So why did I post this? So I can ask "why does this still say new after three years?". After year one (if not sooner), the new tag should be removed.... wait, wait, wait, yeah, this pint was discontinued at the end of 2020, it's just that the remaining stock was available at benjerrys.com. The pint is actually best by September 2021 (meaning it was probably made in March 2020).
Did you try it while it was around? Will you miss it?
On Second Scoop: still tastes like coffee beans....

It's an existential question for the ages -- is it truly an On Second Scoop review if there is no second scoop ever consumed?
