Blue Bunny Stuffed Puffs Classic S'mores Sandwiches

[New for 2023] Blue Bunny has a long history of making some fun ice cream sandwiches, so it's kind of funny to think that they have yet to put out a s'mores ice cream sandwich. Well, after teaming up with Stuffed Puffs, they are finally correcting that oversight.

So there should be "crispy" graham crackers, marshmallow fun and fudge

Where did the blue bunny branding go? Booooo

I unfortunately ate the most photogenic sandwich without taking a picture
(not that this one is terrible from this angle)

Do those wafers look crispy? Well, they aren't. That said, I don't think it makes a huge difference in the long run (though it could have been fun!).

Now my initial opinion upon the first few bites was "meh".... but then I hit that "ooey-gooey fudge" swirl and it's delicious. It takes this sandwich from being meh to being quite tasty and craveable. Yeah, that's right, the swirl impressed me so much that I wound up having a second sandwich right after the first (though maybe cutting one in half would have been a better solution).

I think we can safely call this one a winner. Next time I'm in the store, I'm buying these again and also picking up a box of the salted caramel s'mores version.

Oh, these were $5 for a box of 4 at Walmart, so they are a good deal too!

On Second Scoop: #3 was very tasty and I decided to dissect #4 to get a few extra photos. I want to just clarify that the graham wafers do have a nice graham flavoring (though it's not super strong when mixed with everything else). The frozen dairy dessert has a fairly typical flavoring to it that's supposed to represent marshmallow (not necessarily marshmallow flavoring, but you know what it's going for). Lastly, we have that excellent fudge swirl which thankfully doesn't use peanut oil (YAY!). I'm definitely going to keep a stash of these in the basement freezer.

Verdict?  tasty!
Buy Again?  yup!
