Muddy Bites Waffle Cone Snacks

[Created in 2018, First produced in 2019] I was pretty excited when I finally found Muddy Bites (Dark Chocolate version) at Stop & Shop at the beginning of the year, but I didn't fall in love like I had hoped. Fast forward to April when I got an email asking if I'd like to try more Muddy Bites. I said yes ofcourse, but then radio silence.... until a package showed up on my doorstep last month. A package that contained four bags of...

Muddy Bites Waffle Cone Snacks
Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate varieties

It's only 2.33 ounces, so you don't get a ton

I think you can tell which is which

So the dark chocolate is decent, but I had hoped for more of a balance between the chocolate and the dry cone. I thought -maybe- the milk chocolate variety could add a bit of creaminess. I think technically it does, but not enough to bring these little treats in to balance.

After coming to that conclusion, I thought "hmmmm, I wonder if the sweetness of white chocolate inside of a chocolate cone would balance things out?". Well, sure enough, there is now such a variety made by Muddy Bites, so I'll be on the hunt for those.

So I got these bags for free, but expect to pay 4-5 dollars per back unless maybe they are cheaper at Target. Oh yeah, that's why they sent me these bags, it was so I could tell you that Muddy Bites are now available at Target. Do you think you'll give them a try?

Verdict?  not bad

  2. I could see me peeling the cone off and getting the chocolate, and the little bits of cones that remain :)

  3. We’ve tried them all. Found them at our local Target and Wal-mart. We each threw one or two on a sundae and liked them. Our household fav was the cookies and cream one with white chocolate in a chocolate cone

  4. Tried the milk chocolate ones a while ago from my local gas station, and they certainly were good, but also not really the genuine article when compared the bottom of a drumstick. But, I will likely get them again, and then stick them in the fridge or freezer for what will hopefully be an even better experience.

  5. Oh, I'm definitely stealing that idea about freezing them.
