DQ Caramel Fudge Cheesecake Blizzard

[New for 2022] Yes, we are back at DQ! Wait, that probably doesn't make sense unless I mentioned that we were there a week before to get the always enjoyable, annual pumpkin pie blizzard fix. Anyway, we went back to try a blizzard that actually debuted last year. 

DQ Caramel Fudge Cheesecake Blizzard

I may have tried to pretty that shot up a bit so you could see the cheesecake and the caramel pieces. I may have also spilled on myself  and my wife's car during that process, but no matter.

So my wife got this one last week and enjoyed it, so I decided to try it for myself while she went and tried it for a second time. Mine was good, but for whatever reason, her's was better.

While she got plenty of caramel and cheese flavor, I got a fairly ho-hum blizzard with a bunch of truffles at the bottom. That might sound good, but I was really looking forward to a nice blend of everything and not just a bunch of truffles.

Side note: the description doesn't say it includes caramel, but I thought I saw caramel in the mix. I guess it could have been a squished caramel piece, but I thought it was just regular caramel at the time.

So yeah, classic example of my "mileage my vary" disclaimer that I put on every DQ review. While her blizzard got better on the second try, my blizzard seems to be more lackluster than the one she had last week.

Oh well, at least I tried it... though maybe I just should have gotten another pumpkin blizzard.

Verdict?  decent enough
