My son has been asking to try some kind of "ice cream" sandwich recently, so....

Whoa, that is much smaller than expected. My first impression is that these look more like a Mad Mini than an ice cream sandwich. Open further review though a Mad Mini is 1 fluid oz and 60 calories while these are 2.25 fluid oz and 110 calories.

So my son ate one first. He didn't fall in love, but he didn't hate it. The problem is that he's just not used to eating frozen things, so that doesn't help anything. That said, if he had truly loved it, he totally would have eaten two of them.

I decided to steal one of the four sandwiches and try it for myself. I think I taste sunflower flavoring more than anything (it's one of the ingredients in the non-dairy frozen dessert mix). The texture is different too ofcourse. I can't say I would gravitate towards these, but they are decent enough.

I'll let you know how he feels after he finishes the box. I suspect we'll try something else before circling back to these again.
