Hmmmm, interesting and a bit unexpected.

It's looks more like bits of pretzels than swirls of pretzels.

This flavor is.... something. It's definitely salty, and I would say the pretzel "flavoring" is most prevalent. I say it that way because to me, it doesn't taste like pretzels, but you'll be thinking about pretzels more than anything else.

Despite fudge chips and a chocolate mousse swirl, this one just isn't that chocolatey. If anything, this ice cream is surprisingly... unflavored? Yeah, honestly, I'm not sure I really understand this flavor.

Granted, this was my first scooping, and my pint might be off from the norm, but I expected way more flavor here. I get that it has to be different than other flavors, but this feels like a missed opportunity.

I feel like it continues the recent Ben & Jerry's trend of just not being that creative. Oh geez, sorry, I probably just hurt some guru's feelings, and I don't want to do that, but I just don't get it. Where is that old B&J's spirit of craziness? 

It's always funny when I start typing and my opinion of something just grows increasingly more negative. It's a quality product, it always is, but it's missing something... namely flavor... oh man, I just envisioned a cinnamon sugar pretzel flavor. Now that could have been amazing!

On Second Scoop: Good news everybody! The subtly of this one is less shocking on the second scooping. I definitely enjoyed it more this go around, though I do suspect that flavor will be a one and done for many of you. Yes, I still think it needs something, but I think I'll be debating what it needs while scooping another pint of it, and who knows, maybe the next pint will have a bit more chocolate mousse swirl in it.

On Second Pint: this one really does grow on you. Every single time I've had it, I've enjoyed it more than the last time. Also, I think this second pint maybe have had a bit more swirl in it.

Verdict?  it grows on you
Buy Again?  probably I did!
