[New for 2024] The Mrs and I had stopped at Bolton Orchards to try some fresh cider donuts when I spied a brandy new flavor of Muddy Bites as we headed to the checkout lane.
Muddy Bites Candy Cane Waffle Cone Snacks
mini waffle cone filled with peppermint white chocolate
I take one "bite", and yeah, I like these, and then every subsequent bite made me like them even more. I think I have a new favorite Muddy Bite. The peppermint white chocolate works great with the waffle cone, the ratios are good, and it's creamy, not dry. Man, I think I love these.
I also love the packaging. The candy cane hanging out with the cone is pretty great.
The only thing I didn't love was the price. The Orchards charged me a whopping $6.99 for a package that only holds about 2.5 servings (aka about 15 cones).
If you love candy canes, and you love waffle cones, then these are totally for you. If you just love crunchy things and peppermint-y things, you'll also love these.
Mmmmmmmm, good times.... I think I need more, but at a better price point.... checking their website.... Wait! I just checked the website and there's a new hot cocoa flavor too! Oh man!
On Second Scoop: must.... save.... these.... for..... tomorrow.....
Availability Note: I was hoping to pick these up cheaper at Target, but apparently Target now carries their own "favorite day" brand of mini waffle cones including one that is half milk chocolate and half cookie butter!
Verdict? Delicious!

Really liked these too! I've been picking them (and the hot cocoa flavor) up at Whole Foods where they've been on sale for a few weeks, if you have one nearby.
ReplyDeleteDoh! We were at whole foods the same day but I did not realize that they carried Muddy Bites now! Thanks!
DeleteYeah that retro packaging is really cute. The new target ones are good. Just as good as Muddy bites in my opinion.
