Now I've seen a few new things pop up on instagram, but now I'm running in to new stuff online as well, so let me share what I've stumbled upon so far. First up, I found the new "Bakery Collection" over on the Talenti website. We're going to get three new layered flavors and you can be sure that I'll be testing all three: Italian Tiramisu, Snickerdoodle Cookie, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Batter.

Now I don't pay much attention to Halo Top, and to be honest, I thought they were fading away, but they just announced their new mix-ins line up! Coming in at 490 calories a pint, there will be 8 flavors in all. Erythritol still isn't my thing, so I'll have to rely on you for some reviews.
Ooooo, now the new Campfire Collection from Breyers looks fun, even if it is frozen dairy dessert.
Someone tipped off @markie_devo to the "new" Extra lineup from Edy's, though it's really just a frozen dairy dessert version of the rocky road collection. It's the same flavor combinations and they didn't even both to change the color of the containers:
Red: Original Rocky Road >> EXTRA Rocky Road
Blue: Cookie Cobblestone >> EXTRA Chocolate Cookie Duo
Green: Caramel Pretzel Path >> EXTRA Salted Caramel Pretzel
Purple1: Brownie Brick Road >> EXTRA Triple Fudge Brownie
Orange: Peanut Butter Park >> EXTRA Chocolate Peanut Butter
Purple2: Mocha Almond Avenue >> EXTRA Mocha Almond Fudge
Cyan: Churro Caramel Crossroads >> EXTRA Caramel Churro
I included the bigger picture so that you could see the notes on the right hand side of the container and see that these are in fact frozen dairy dessert. Way to disappoint us yet again Edy's.
Have you heard about the three new candy bar flavored ice cream bars from Ferrero? @Snackolator posted them back in October. It's a bit confusing as to when they are actually available, but according to the website you can already pick up the Butterfinger version at gas stations.
Ok, that's the most interesting stuff for now. Let me know what you think.
Note: all images belong to their respective company and are linked accordingly.
I read a review of the Breyers smores lineup. The highest reviews went to the cookie sandwich
ReplyDeleteThe talenti flavors sound exciting. I wish they weren’t layers.
ReplyDeleteI’m surprised halo top is going for higher calorie pints. You can eat half a pint of premium/super premium ice cream for 500 calories.
The butterfinger bars sound tasty too.
I’ve never really had edys. I think I was let down by a frozen dairy dessert from them a decade ago and ignored them since.
I want all the Talenti flavors, but especially the tiramisu. None of the other brands appeal to me.
ReplyDeleteHow much ranting can I do Talenti?! That entire flavor line seems like it would be great for a full pint instead of this deconstructed, lower volume, price hiked direction.
ReplyDeleteI saw the 100 Grand bars somewhere pretty recently, plan to give those and the Baby Ruth a definitely try, as well as the talenti and s'mores.
ReplyDeleteThe Talenti and ice cream bars are all that look good to me. The Frozen Dairy Desserts are just awful in my opinion.
